Yes, this week we have, *drum roll* a celebrity autobiography. Paul O’Grady’s, no less. I’m not sure if we’ve ever reviewed a sleb autobiography on Vulpes Libris before, as memory does not serve… Anyhow, this might well be a first, so tune in on Wednesday to see how Nikki fared with Lily Savage’s alter ego. We also have a short story collection and books dealing with wars of various kinds.
Monday: Jackie tours the Crystal Palace in The Great Exhibition of 1851 by Jeffery Auerbach.
Tuesday: Anne battles through various life and work issues in order to review Adam Thorpe’s Is This The Way You Said? and finds it probably is just the way he said.
Wednesday: Nikki dips her toe in the murky world of celebrity autobiography as she reviews Paul O’Grady’s At My Mother’s Knee… And Other Low Joints.

Thursday: Sharon learns about Guernsey’s war in Tim Binding’s Island Madness.
Friday: Kirsty tells us about the eye-opening Lost Lives, a comprehensive account of deaths in the Troubles.

For those not familiar with the Latin, that’s a Kit Fox in the pic, a subspecies from San Joaquin California that is very endangered.
Aha, thanks, Jackie! I did recognise the word Vulpes though …
